The future growth of higher education is post web-browser learning.  The growth we are now seeing in online learning is a stepping stone to mobile elearning....and yes, that means your cell phone or pda.

Returning adult students are becoming more and more technologically savvy.  As this trend continues, the driving need for portability and mobility in learning will push the eLearning into communities or learning pods.  Adults are learning at a record pace to develop community connections remotely.  Andragogy is community centered learning at its best.  When we combine the ability for learning communities with the portability of cell phones, new access to education will be the opportunity and new enrollments the result.
